Yes, we are still alive
Obviously, there's been a lot going on since our return ...
1. We've all returned to NH. (I spent two weeks house-sitting for my colleague and friend, Melorah while Debi and the boys stayed at her mother's house.)
2. We've closed on our house.
3. We've both returned to work.
4. Connor started daycare and Evan will start on Monday. (He starts first grade on September 2nd.)
5. We've had our cable television and internet connection installed, but still are waiting on the phone. (Gotta love Comcast and their com-craptic service.)
6. Fridge came on Wednesday, the washer and dryer today.
7. Debi bought a black Honda Fit Sport.
8. Bought a nice new HD TV, on which I am currently watching the Sox crush the A's, 5-2 after the first inning.
Yeah, we've been busy.
As for the rest of our stuff, it's been sitting in Boston for the past 10 days or so, awaiting an 'intensive' Customs inspection. Though our stuff spent less time at sea on the way here than on the way there, the Customs delay is quickly cutting into that advantage. We've been living out of suitcases since May 28th, and though it's nice not to be living in a hotel or with the parents or a friend, it'll be good to begin getting settled in.
I've just noticed the sellers didn't clean the fireplace ... :sigh:
