Weekly grocery store whinge

I've been nursing yet another head cold, so I really, really wanted some orange juice. I bought a bottle of Charlie's, which is the only one you can buy here that doesn't have added sweeteners. A 2.4 litre bottle cost me $7! And it's not even fully fresh-squeezed; it's partially reconstituted.

Chicken breast fillets were 'on special' again this week, for $14.99/kilo, which is a dollar more than they were 'on special' for last week.

And milk ... $3.09 for 2 litres of the off brand. (Not that there's anything wrong with that brand--it just isn't the Anchor, which is kind of NZ's equivalent of Hood.)
